Tsururi, a newly launched Japanese drugstore brand in Singapore, believe in the Japanese way of achieving pure, clear and smooth skin using natural botanical cleansing ingredients. 

Tsururi products are specially formulated with Ghassoul Mineral Lava Clay from the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. Well-known for its gentle and natural healing properties, it has many known benefits including ionic detoxification, controls excess oil, brightens, exfoliates, tightens and smooths skin among many others.

They also contain other natural botanical ingredients beneficial for the skin.

Tsururi has products for different skin needs. They are broadly classified into two categories: 

PORE CONTROL (For oily, combination skin)

BRIGHTENING MOISTURE (For normal, dull, dry skin)

I am sent the entire line of products but for review purposes, I am only going to share more about Brightening Moisture Series, which includes the Brightening Moisture Face Wash and Brightening Moisture Deep Cleansing Mask.

Brightening Moisture Face Wash with Pore Cleansing Brush

This face wash contains mannan scrub and french white clay. White clay has cleansing, soothing and anti-inflammatory properties yet gentle for sensitive skin. The mannan scrub is included to provide mild daily exfoliation.

I pair the face wash with Tsururi Pore Cleansing Brush to double the cleansing power. This brush feels so silky smooth & gentle. It has antibacterial properties so there is less worry about hygiene. The bristles are designed wirh KANEGOTO fiber that dries quickly; again this reduces the chance of bacterial spreading.

MY THOUGHTS

The cleansing wash has a light pleasant scent that I personally find calming; especially when coupled with the soft brush rolling on my face producing fine lather, the cleansing experience feels truly relaxing.

However, as much I as adore the clean brightening effect on the skin after a wash, the skin feels squeaky clean and a little tight. The clean-ness and bright skin effects did not last as well - a couple of hours later after skin oils up, I actually saw my pores more clogged than usual.

As for the brush, it dries quickly as per claims; and so far, it hasn't cause me any breakouts like other such facial brushes that I used before.

Brightening Moisture Deep Cleansing Mask

This 2-minute rinse-off clay mask promises deep cleansing, hydrating and brightening results.

MY THOUGHTS

Clay masks are nothing new to us, but what makes this Tsururi mask special is how it can clarify, hydrate AND brighten the skin at the same time! It's like a multi-functional product made specially for the busy users! I am not sure if 3 minutes are sufficient to achieve optimum results as I usually leave it for about 8-10 mins.

Above-pictured was my skin after masking for 8 minutes, and this was only the first time in the week that I used it! Pores became visibily clean, and overall skin texture got more refined, supple and brighter!

This Brightening Moisture Deep Cleansing Mask is my newfound love and whenever I need a quick pampering for my dull skin, this will be my go-to product. Of course, results last only for about a day, as typical of many sheet masks.
